Theron Shelton - In Loving Memory

The world is a little darker today with the recent passing of a good friend, Theron Shelton. We played together for a few years in The Blue Method, a band he helped to elevate with his spirited, skilled and inspired drumming. He was one of the finest people and musicians I had the privilege of knowing in my days, and I'll miss him deeply, and think of him often.

May we all learn from his strength of conviction, positivity and optimism. Goodbye, Theron, for now. Strength and Honor.

  1. little brother,

when i go to a Blue Method Show all i could do was scream your name in the front of the crowd just so you knew that i was there to watch you do what you did best, move the crowd. i will always think of you when i listen to anything with a phat drum solo cause to me your drumming was a work of art that only the masters that came before you could match. your will be in my heart more than ever before and it won't feel the same going to the store and asking where your playing at this weekend. no one could do it better. i know that your with GOD and now he has the BBBBBBAAAAAAADDDDDDDDEEESSST DRUMMER in all of heaven leading his band and your playing with the best. i love you Theron and i'll see you soon cause you'll be back for the 2nd act so eveyone keep listen. don't let the music stop cause that's what kept my brother going and he'd be dissapointed if their was no music. it was HIM. HE WAS THE MUSIC. THE SOUL. DON'T LET IT STOP.

I LOVE YOU THERON AND I'LL BE WAITING FOR YOU.

    YOUR BROTHER,

    RANDEL

  2. I will never forget the soulful performance at the World Cafe' on Saturday, May 17, 2008. That was one of the greatest shows that I have ever been a part of. It was also an honor to open up for The Blue Method in Trenton at the All Call Inn.
